Away Match Tickets Season 2004/2005
Tickets for both Domestic and European competitive matches played at away and neutral venues in Season 2004/2005 will continue to be distributed through the Away Ticket Registration Scheme.
CURRENT MATCHES
Domestic Away Match Tickets
Following a review of domestic away match ticket sales and feedback received from supporters, there will be some significant changes to the process for allocating away match tickets from the beginning of Season 2004-2005.
For matches where we do not believe that there will be significant demand for tickets, offer letters will not be sent. On these occasions, tickets will go on sale to registered members of the away ticket scheme.
This has been decided as a result of a number of matches having tickets remaining after we had sent offers. It is hoped that this will help supporters who may not have been offered many tickets in the past to be able to purchase tickets early rather than wait to until a few days before the match.
The sale dates will be advertised in advance through the Celtic View and on the official website – www.celticfc.net Tickets will be available on a first-come-first-served basis from the Ticket Office counter, by calling the Ticket Office on 0141 551 8653 or by postal application.
Groups will only receive credit for attendance at a particular match, if they accept tickets for ALL group members.
However, for high demand fixtures – such as Rangers – ticket offers will be sent out, based on previous attendance and weighted in favour of those that we have recorded as attending the most matches. As with previous seasons, successful applicants will receive an offer letter with a deadline to apply for their tickets.
Any remaining tickets would be made available in the first instance to registered members of the away tickets scheme through the same channels as above.
European Away Match Tickets
The application process for European away matches is assessed on a match-by-match basis, dependent on opposition, number of tickets available and stage of competition.
On occasions where we do not believe that demand will exceed supply, tickets will not be balloted tickets and application details will not be sent; the ticket application process would be available in the Celtic View and on the official website - www.celticfc.net
As with domestic away matches, any fixtures where there is significant interest - or limited ticket supply - tickets would be balloted and successful applicants would receive an offer letter and application form to complete and return by a specified deadline.
Lonsdale Travel are the Club’s official travel partner and as such we would encourage supporters to travel with them, where possible. On occasions where allocations will allow, they will be provided with tickets for their official charters, to ensure that all supporters who are travelling with the Club do so with match tickets.
